*Howdy~ My name is Rip & I live/work in Oakland & Santa Cruz, Calif. I lov to make outsider, freak folk, soft grunge, no wave music. It sorta sounds like a mix of Syd Barrett, Swell Maps, & Beat Happening. In the past, I've played a show as Daniel Johnston’s guitarist, toured around, co-facilitated queer skate meet-ups, and also dissected a baby Salmon shark for a Shark Week pilot. Not on the same day though... I like to make art and songs about my observations, late-stage excesses, oppressions, candy and gasoline. What do you like to do with your time?
